Alex joined Strategic Financial Consulting in 2024. Alex most recently worked at the public accounting firm KPMG performing financial statement audits for clients in the retail, natural resources, asset management and food industries. At KPMG, he pioneered the use of audit technologies such as Alteryx and Mindbridge to automate and simplify audit procedures. He gained experience leading engagement teams of 4-8 individuals to complete tasks under strict deadlines. Alex obtained CPA licensure in 2022 and has maintained an active license in the state of Utah. His studies began at Utah State University where he obtained his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting. While there, he interned with the Entrepreneurship club and spent several months in the Dominican Republic consulting business owners on methods to grow their businesses and reach financial targets.
