With nearly two decades of accounting and finance experience, Nik Ruoti is the Founder and Managing Partner of StratFC, a consulting firm specializing in fractional CFO, Controller, and accounting services. Since founding StratFC in 2019, Nik has grown the firm into a highly experienced team of finance and accounting professionals dedicated to helping businesses and nonprofit organizations build scalable organizations, improve financial performance, and make confident strategic decisions.

 

Nik partners with founders, CEOs, boards, executive teams, and investors as a fractional CFO and strategic advisor across a diverse range of industries, including manufacturing, consumer products, eCommerce, SaaS, hospitality, restaurants, breweries, distilleries, marketing services, interior design, landscaping, professional services, and nonprofit organizations. He has helped organizations raise capital, execute acquisitions, prepare for successful exits, implement ERP systems, improve profitability, strengthen cash flow, and build the financial and operational infrastructure needed to support long-term growth.

 

Prior to founding StratFC, Nik served as Chief Financial Officer of Studio McGee, a nationally recognized home design and lifestyle brand. During his tenure, he helped guide the company's financial strategy and supported its rapid growth by strengthening financial planning, operational decision-making, and the infrastructure needed to scale.

 

Earlier in his career, Nik served as Director of Finance at Constellation Brands (NYSE: STZ), where he established the Spirits Finance division supporting a multi-billion-dollar portfolio that included High West Distillery, Casa Noble Tequila, Svedka Vodka, Paul Masson Brandy, and Black Velvet Whisky. He was also a member of the leadership team that guided High West Distillery through its acquisition by Constellation Brands.

 

Nik began his career in public accounting with Ernst & Young and Grant Thornton, where he earned his CPA license and developed a strong foundation in audit, financial reporting, technical accounting, and business advisory services.
