Nik Ruoti, Principal

Nik has been involved with multiple startups, high growth companies, and brand investments and acquisitions. Most recently as the CFO of a high growth retail brand, he developed the long-range strategic vision resulting in 2x sales growth to $30M and led a series A round for $15M in venture capital. Nik was formerly Director of Finance at Constellation Brands, Inc. (NYSE: STZ) where he successfully formed a Spirits Finance division within a $3B consumer products segment with a portfolio that included High West Distillery, Casa Noble Tequila, Svedka, Paul Masson Brandy, and Black Velvet Whiskey. He was a key member on the management team for High West Distillery that took them through a $160M merger. Earlier in his career, he obtained CPA licensure while working for public accounting firms Ernst & Young and Grant Thornton. 

Connor Judd, Financial Controller

Connor comes from an accounting background having most recently worked at KPMG performing financial statement audits and audits of internal control with clients in the retail, technology, and real estate industries. Connor interned with PwC in the San Francisco office and worked with the Capital Markets and Accounting Advisory Services group on deals advisory, acquisitions, divestitures, ICO/IPO and provided accounting advisory services around ASC 606. While studying for his Masters of Accounting at the University of Utah, he worked for Wasatch Guaranty Capital, a private equity firm based in Salt Lake City, Utah. During his time there, he took over the majority of the accounting processes for about ten of the managed entities, while also assisting in the implementation of a new accounting software, Oracle NetSuite.   

Nicole Bogenschutz, Financial Controller

Nicole is an experienced accounting professional who excels at establishing and maintaining accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure conformance with US GAAP and other laws/regulations. Before consulting, she was the Controller of a multi-faceted lifestyle brand where she was an integral part of the leadership team that saw an increase in revenue from 25M to 100M in less than 4 years. She has directed thriving accounting teams and has experience in successful external tax and accounting audits. Nicole has provided accounting assistance to multiple companies through mergers and acquisitions, including the acquisition of IntegraCore by Visible Supply Chain Management (which was then acquired by A.P. Moller – Maersk).

Jessica Broderick, Senior Accountant

Jessica has over 20 years of dedicated accounting experience. Her expertise extends across various industries. She is a seasoned financial professional specializing in meticulous account reconciliation and financial reporting and demonstrating a proven track record of ensuring financial accuracy and compliance. She brings a wealth of knowledge to manage complex financial processes effectively.

Alexander Davis, Accounting Manager

Alex most recently worked at the public accounting firm KPMG performing financial statement audits for clients in the retail, natural resources, asset management and food industries. At KPMG, he pioneered the use of audit technologies such as Alteryx and Mindbridge to automate and simplify audit procedures. He gained experience leading engagement teams of 4-8 individuals to complete tasks under strict deadlines. Alex obtained CPA licensure in 2022 and has maintained an active license in the state of Utah. His studies began at Utah State University where he obtained his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting. While there, he interned with the Entrepreneurship club and spent several months in the Dominican Republic consulting business owners on methods to grow their businesses and reach financial targets.
